Sounds for virtual reality?

Are you planning to add sounds that are better suited for use in virtual reality applications and games? Thanks

    Most virtual reality games currently do not make heavy use of VR-specific sound recordings, like Ambisonics. Since video games are dynamic and Ambisonics recordings are static, there are less applications for the those kinds of sound files in games.

    VR video and other linear VR mediums (where the position of the player/viewer’s head is in a set position, but can freely rotate) can make better use of ambisonics and surround format recordings. However, we don’t currently have plans at this time to support those files as the demand does not currently justify it for us.

    Making use of VR audio tools that use the HRTF function to help spatialize sound is a great option for designing sound in virtual spaces.
